Introducing FretSketch

I’ve released a new app on the App Store: FretSketch! It’s an application for displaying chord fingering diagrams for the guitar or ukulele.

It includes chords for standard guitar, low and high G standard ukulele, and baritone ukuleles.

I picked what I hope is a humane way to monetize it: You can access anything int the app, but some of the features are behind a delay. So you can use any feature in the app and subscribe to remove the delay.

It’s available on the App Store. I’ve also got a very basic website for it which includes a support link.

As a developer, there are some things I’m particularly proud of:

  1. This is my first entirely SwiftUI app.
  2. I really like the way the animation on the key selector wheel turned out.
  3. I like the chord player, both the animations and the sound.

Anyway, please check it out. Send me feedback if you have any, write a review if you feel like it, and subscribe if the app is useful to you.
