A plan for a new internet “domain” for pornography has once again been shelved, dealing another blow to the US-backed addressing system that acts as the glue holding together the unified global internet.

This really saddens me. I know people who have been addicted to pornography, and now isolate themselves completely from the internet. Something like this could be the first step to a virtual red light district: Much easier to filter, for example. Full story here.
