Windows Media Player for Mac OS X has been discontinued. But don’t worry, Mac users, it’s been replaced with a better option for playing Windows Media content.
Microsoft has worked out some sort of deal with the makers of the excellent [[en:Flip4Mac WMV]]. The basic version allows you to view most Windows Media content (more than Microsoft’s player did, but still not all) directly in [[en:QuickTime Player]] or any other QuickTime application. And it is now available for download free.
